Field Trips

Please join us in exploring the geology of the Ouachita Fold and Thrust Belt, as exposed in northwestern Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

Several field stops are planned throughout this 4-day trip (straddling a weekend, starting Friday and ending Monday), to teach and reinforce the basics of structural geology and help our participants learn more about the geologic history and development of the Ouachita Fold and Thrust Belt.

For a copy of the trip waiver, emergency contact, health insurance, itinerary and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) forms, please email us and we'll send you copies of the materials.
